Archer Capital acquired a majority stake in Supercars in May 2011, investing alongside management and the teams involved in the sport.

Supercars is the premier motorsport category in Australasia and one of Australia's biggest sports. The sport is globally recognised as the best touring car category in the world and a leader in motorsport entertainment.

The business is the central franchise rights holder and holds contracts with the circuits, teams, media buyers and category sponsors. In addition, the business promotes and runs many of the major events on the calendar, including the Bathurst 1000, considered one of the iconic motorsport events globally.
