Archer Capital co-led the management buyout of Emeco in December 2004. Emeco, with operations in Australia, Indonesia, North America and Europe is a market leading provider of large scale earth moving equipment, such as dump trucks, bulldozers and excavators, for sale, lease and rent. The company’s customer base is predominantly in the mining industry and it also services some of the larger construction companies. Emeco uses its global procurement network to source equipment for both the rental fleet and sales division. Archer realised its investment in Emeco via a listing on the Australian Stock Exchange in August 2006.
