Archer Capital partnered with management to acquire LCR Group in July 2014. LCR is one of Australia’s largest privately held industrial services businesses, operating through two key divisions – Bulk Haulage and Mobile Lifting & Transport – across the East Coast of Australia and Papua New Guinea (“PNG”).

LCR’s Bulk Haulage business is a leading load and haul services provider to clients in the resources sector in Queensland (“QLD”) and New South Wales (“NSW”), providing the supply chain link connecting mines to fixed transport infrastructure. LCR’s Mobile Lifting & Transport business is one of the largest providers of mobile crane and specialised transport services in QLD and PNG, with its services provided predominantly on a wet (with labour) as opposed to dry (without labour) basis.

LCR own and manages a well-invested fleet of equipment which is sourced from leading original equipment manufacturers. The company’s operations are also supported by: a proprietary industry leading safety and fleet management system (which facilitates real-time monitoring of usage), stringent in-house maintenance procedures, and a network of strategically located depots.
